Research Overview
Robbie Pesek, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Allergy and Immunology for the University of Arkansas forMedical Sciences (UAMS) and Arkansas Children's Hospital. He is also the medical director for the Allergy and Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders Clinics at ACH. Dr. Pesek received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and completed his medical degree at UAMS. He completed his Pediatric residency at ACH and training in Allergy/Immunology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He joined the faculty at ACH in 2011. Dr. Pesek is a member of the Arkansas Medical Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. His current research interests include primary immunodeficiency, food allergies, and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders. Some of the UAMS College of Medicine faculty members provide pediatric patient care at Arkansas Children's Hospital. In addition, a wide range of pediatric services are provided in more than 35 subspecialties around Arkansas in locations such as the Schmieding Developmental Center in Springdale and the James L. Dennis Developmental Center in Little Rock. To make an appointment at Arkansas Children's Hospital, please call 501-364-4000.
