Dr. Magann worked as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist and a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics at King Edward Memorial Hospital, the obstetric teaching hospital of the University of Western Australia, Perth Australia from 2001-2003. He returned to the U.S. in 2003 when his Naval Reserve unit was activated for Operation Iraq Freedom.
