Dr. Kimbrough received her bachelor's degree at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana and completed medical school and general surgery residency at Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport. Dr. Kimbrough completed a trauma/surgical critical care fellowship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Kimbrough is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Card Surgery. She is also an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Certified Instructor. Dr. Kimbrough is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
